To travel hopefully is a better thing than to arrive.

Travel Hopefully

Let’s face it, sometimes our expectations are high, and when we attain what we thought we wanted, it just doesn’t seem that great anymore. For example, you spend two weeks planning a fabulous trip to the beach with you family. You get excited, create vision boards, plan what you will do, share your thoughts with friends, and then the experience comes and goes. And in only 5 days the vacation is behind you, it is gone. The trip was great, but soon you realize that traveling hopefully in your mind, and having that vacation in your imagination seemed better and more exciting than the actual reality of it. Sometimes just having something exciting to look forward is what you really need to add excitement to your life. It can be daydreaming about a new job, new relationship, or that next vacation. Envision it, savor it, and delight in the possibilities. Sure it may seem far away, but travelling hopefully makes the journey completely worth it, even if it does not happen.
